Study Plan: A study of the clumping habits of trillium stamineum in north Alabama. Study Findings: (In Process). - These pictures(1-8) are from a stamineum clump divided from our woodland wildflower garden in September 2004. They were obtained as juveniles from a deer bed a few years earlier. Pictures 9-12 are from a single rhizome clump in Brenda's WF Garden after a number of years (perhaps 5-8 yrs). |

Below are Trillium stamineum from my test garden that were lifted after 2-3 years in 2003. The last pictures is the trillium stamineum clump/cluster test area planted in 2003.

The Pictures below are of a clump from a stamineum I planted next to a pine tree some years ago.It contained 34 small rhizomes and 4 large rhizomes. Most all rhizomes were connected together and had to be seperated.
