PROPAGATION: SEED MATURIETY EFFECTS ON GERMINATION (05RP_10)

Study Plan: A study of trillium seed maturity and it's effect on germination.
-Harvest T. flexipes seed weekly from green seed in early june to last seeds standing in mid July
-Plant seed in a side by side demonstration to observe differences in germination.
-Assess if immature seed demonstrate the same dormancy traits as mature seed
-All seed planted on 15 July 2005.
